Issues

If you don't use the beta patch, the game runs almost perfectly in Cedega 6.0, just remember to use ALT+F4 to quit.

  • Clicking certain buttons (mostly return and quit) will cause the program to lock up. You can unlock up the game by hitting Escape. The beta patch resolves this. If you do not want to patch, use ALT+F4
  • With the beta patch, you seem to be able to highlight every button on the front screen.
  • Again, with the beta patch, the title music is delayed.
  • You can not play on WormNET, nobody shows up, nor any rooms.

NOTE: A Linux client may be in development in the future.

Demo issues

  • This demo is a VERY early build (1.0), and suffers from a number of bugs. All of these are problems with the game. For example, the game would not run under Windows 2000/XP until you installed Silkworm or the 3.5beta1 (or newer) patch.
  • The weapons screen is slanted to the right, don't know how, you can't leave that screen too.

Older Issues

  • Team editing is not available due to graphical errors, and so is the team game option.
  • With the beta patch installed, team editing works partially, team games still don't.
  • There are weird graphical anomalies during screen transitions, but these are only an annoyance and don't seem to affect the game.
  • The installer does NOT work properly if you run setup.exe from the root folder of the CD. Run Install/Install.exe instead.
