Post EVE-Online Revolutions Issues

  • Numberpad and alt + Fx keys don't work
  • First time you run EVE-Online Revolutions it may say that it is "Unable to install or locate required version of D3DX." If this happens you need to aquire a copy of the d3dx9_30.dll from a Windows computer or you can alternatively download it from here and copy it into the windows/system32 folder inside your Transgaming Drive.
  • Switching from Fullscreen to Windowed Mode causes the game to crash. (6.0 appears to have fixed this)
  • Running the client in windowed mode lowers your frame rate. Preferably run the client in full screen mode.
  • On occassion, some character portraits become corrupt on generating character portrait.

Old Issues (What still applies)

  • The game crashes when you get near some stargates or stations ("Lustrevik VIII - M9 - Bruto Tribe Bureau") - Can no longer replicate this using three known systems where this occurs
  • Warp graphics aren't as dark/thick as seen in native os and after several hours of playing they bork up
  • Disable Virtex Shaders if you're missing fonts from mission and chat windows
  • Numberpad and Fx keys don't work

Pre 4557/5.2.5 Issues and Fixes

  • No mouse cursor in window-mode
  • The game crashes when you get near some stargates or stations ("Lustrevik VIII - M9 - Bruto Tribe Bureau")
  • Wrong in corp time and aggression countdowns - shows over 408 years
  • Warp graphics are b0rked, they're prettier in it's native OS
  • In windowed mode the fps are slow
  • Bounty text does not show over character portraits on billboards
  • The Fitting screen's slot overlays do not properly render sometimes but are still usable
  • Use of the ingame FPS meter can cause game crashes when leaving stations on slower cpu's
  • Use fullscreen mode or try the Evemousefix (note: link currently broken - mirrors hopefully coming soon)
  • Zoom out all the way to avoid crash at these stations/stargates
  • If EvE crashes constantly and gets error logs in \\EVE\\logs\\#error *whatever*.txt that refer to a blue.dll and Python errors, try removing the game via Point2Play and installing via Cedega command line
  • If changing graphical options causes you to CTD then make all adjustments at the character selection screen rather than in-game.
  • Adding buffersize=200 (or higher) to \\EVE\\cache\\prefs.ini improves gameplay for systems with at least 512MB RAM
  • Disable Virtex Shaders if you're missing fonts from mission and chat windows
  • Slow cpu's known to cause a crash when leaving station with fps meter on include amd 2100+ and 2400+ (stock and overclocked to 2.3ghz) while the problem does not exist on amd 3500+ or similar cpu's
